The Red Shoot

Set in the heart of the New Forest National Park, The Red Shoot is a traditional, country pub surrounded by ancient woodland and endless walking trails. Once a farmhouse and converted into an inn in the 1960s, it retains its rustic charm with hints of the old microbrewery. With a campsite just next door, it's the perfect base for exploring the forest or simply unwinding with a pint after a walk with the dog. Outside, a beer garden and heated canopy for year-round al fresco dining with stunning views over the woods and moorland of Ibsley Common, and you may even be greeted by the famous New Forest ponies.
