Nestled in the heart of the New Forest National Park, The Red Shoot features a spacious, dog-friendly beer garden where both owners and their four-legged companions can unwind and soak up the surroundings. Our large terrace is lined with picnic tables and benches with parasols, opening onto a lawn that stretches toward the forest; perfect for a sunny afternoon or a peaceful drink in the open air.

On cooler days, you can still dine al fresco under our heated canopy, making the beer garden a year-round retreat. With views of the woods to the south and the moorland of Ibsley Common to the north, and just 15 minutes from the market town of Ringwood, it’s the ideal spot to take in the New Forest scenery. Conveniently located next to a campsite, it’s also the perfect stop for visitors looking to sample our hearty food, great range of drinks, and quintessential country pub atmosphere.

Just minutes from the A31 and M27 (closer than the peaceful surroundings would suggest!), we’re easy to reach from Bournemouth, Southampton, and beyond; the perfect spot to unwind after a walk in the forest.
